Reskinning lightsaber handles

Is it possible to reskin lightsaber handles? If so, how do you do it? I can't find any TGA files...

OK... I found one lightsaber skin...

Perhaps you could reskin using that as a base model and then replacing the hero lightsaber scripts with the name of the new skin. Not sure if it's possible, worth a try.

why not just make a new model, theyre simple low poly cylinders :S

Would be nice to have all the realistic hilts up and running. Especially Dooku's curved hilt :D

What's funny, is that the default Republic saber looks like Qui Gon's saber, and he's not even in the game... Since he was who I was going to reskin my saber for, it seemed a little pointless...

it would be a simple model to make, i made one for JA a long time ago, ill have to dig around and see if i even still have the model.

You know (not speaking as an Admin) -- I realize that people want authenticity, but it really bothers me when people diss Pandemic for not adding things like proper lightsaber hilts, or that the DC-2439753-A is actually a carbine or whatever.

Sorry, just needed to get that out.
