I have put them in C:\program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData like all the fourms say

But when i run the .exe it says "Please insert CD1." altho the DVD is in the drive.

That is a fault that everybody with the DVD version of the game has. I think that is going to be fixed sometime soon, i'm not sure.

Once installed the mod tools go in C:\BF2_ModTools that should be the default (I think). Try reinstalling with the default directory. Open using the link from the start bar. That'ts all I can suggest as I have the DVD version and I've not had any probs or requsts to insert disks etc....

guys i think he is talking about the SPTest. the SPTEST is only for debugging. the modtools can be accessed from the start menu.

Yes im on about the SPTest mode so i can get the AddcameraShot looking in the right place on my new map, NOT the tools themself. It seems they dont work on DVD atm.
