Changing Health/Ammo mesh?

Is it possible to change the mesh of the Health/Ammo? I believe they are located in the COMMON folder but I don't think if I change them there they will get overrided? Any ideas?

I don't see why you couldn't change them. I think it would be the same as changing the mesh of any other object.
