guarder r u positive? b/c iv tried editting that one. Its got to be a different one unless editting the .tga isn't the only thing i have to do.
FYI i tried editting all_hovercombatspeeder.tga and all_hover_tank. Both no go. Anyone know what i have to do?

You're sure you put the skin in right? Reskinning vehicles is just the same as reskinning units.

to reskin you have to make a whole new side
or bring in a side, edit what you want, and call the "dc:" in the LUA.
Otherwise the game still calls from the standard resources

for more information on creating sides then refer to the
BF2 Jedi Creation.doc that accompanies the mod tools. Once you've created your custom side with the editted
.tga file you'll need to add a
dc: command in the relavent mission lua. The dc command calls custom content etc... from your newly created side i.e.
ReadDataFile(“dc:SIDE\\jdi.lvl”, “jdi_demojedi”)
that's the example from the docs, obviously the command needs editing in order to work for your custom combat speeder. Hope that helps
EDIT: If you've overwritten and not backed up the original
.tga from the assets then I'm sure (if you ask) someone will post the original on here for you.

Err..
You could just copy the rep side and then edit that texture. You have to add a new side (or copy in rep). If you edit the one in your game (which is either impossible or hard) then it'll be white and gray for all the levels and it won't work ofr other people. It'll just be normal.
