Hi, i have loads of (noobish) questions so i'm putting them all in one place
how do you put the skin of one character over another. eg. a clone trooper skin over obi-wan (so clone trooper with lightsaber and obi-wans moves)??
i have edited the odf files (just messin around with sabre colours etc.) and nothing seemed to happen ingame, what do i need to do??
The extra reqs in the assets don't seem to work (imp_hero_royal_guard, rep_hero_obiwan_old, all_hero_luke_storm etc. etc. ) why??
How do you stop there just being a black bit "off" your map, which you can walk on and everything??
How do you change things like the reinforcements and max number of bots on a map (like the Geonosis Offensive Simulator with reinforcements always at 900 and about 100 units on at the same time??)
Hex Editing: several times i have changed something in a map ie. rep_inf_ep3_sniper for rep_inf_ep3_sniper_felucia and nothing atall has happened. I would understand the game crashing but not nothing happening atall.

Do you have the mod tools an have you read the documentation that comes with them?

I'll answer your third question. The 'extra assets' were never completed, aside from all_hero_luke_storm, which does work.

luke storm works? why doesn't anyone put him in there map?

r2d2 works you just can't play that side:) it's easy to kill hiM!

Important question for a map i am making (Tantive IV: Crashed)
Here is what i did. Copied all the msh and odfs and effects into data_CTN.
opened tan1.wld in zeroeditor. edited it a bit, saved it as ctn.wld in the ctn folder. I go onto the map, this is what happens
problem (a) the command posts aren't inside the ship
problem (b) the ground isn't solid

Important basic question
odf and .lua editing.
How do you get the changes into the game. eg. i edited obiwan so he had force choke, saved it, went on the game and nothing happened, what am i doing wrong??

Last question:
How do i open .tga files for editing.
(if both these questions are answered then i could create a battledroid.
change the texture of the droid marine and then take away his missile launcher and give him a pistol )
