Sky too bright

How do I drop the glare in the sky. It is so bright that I can not see the clouds on a few maps. I know I need to edit either the .sky file or maybe the tga file.

Any guidance?

I don't believe in bumping, but I did wait a long time.

No matter what I change the seetings to the sky is too bright (especially with light bloom on), but it may not be me. I noticed that the shipped feluica has a blinding sky too.

Thoughts?

Post a pic if you can.

This can happen when your tga is the wrong size. On a map I was messin around on I accidently made the whole sky glow lol.

Also , I believe you can alter how much glow there is in the sky by adjusting the HDR settings in the sky file. Have a look at some of the shipped worlds sky files for this HDR setting (im 80% sure its in the sky file)

Well if you havent edited the tga files themselves I dont think that is the problem.

Maybe (and this is a big maybe) if you are goin with the geo sky tga you could try copying over the geo dome msh and see if this corrects your problem

Without a pic I cant tell if you really do have a problem or not. Only the new maps that pan made have the hdr/glow skies. maps like yavin still use the other ,non alpha channeled , swbf1 sky textures.
