SWBF2 not accepting custom lvl files.

Post by chubby »

Why? I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything and it wont read any custom LVL files. Please help me.

EDIT: I forgot to say it crashes to windows around halfway through loading a map with a custom LVL files.

I had the same problem for a while. Chubby, are the files as large as they should be (in comparison to the regular .lvl files already in the game)? Sometimes when my set of modtools munges it leaves out some parts of the .lvl files unless you munge everything at the same time.

It's smaller then the other files by 20 or 30 MB. But when I munge it munges everything.

MorpheusWells was right, It wasn't set to munge properly.

If it still doesn't do the whole file when you munge everything (by clicking select all before you munge) then try putting the common folder from assets into your project side folder and taking the contents of the asset shell folder and putting it in the shell folder in your projects _BUILD
That's what fixed it for me.
You might also want to put the animations from assets into your project's animations folder, but I'm not sure that it will help.
