How to change the loading screen?
So anyone knows if it´s possible to change the Mustafar loading screen to a different one?
It doesn´t fit well to my Coruscant map.

RE: How to change the loading screen?
I'm going to revive this topic (sorry), since I'm also curious if it's possible. I think it'd be really cool to have custom screens for our map as it's loading, like the official ones do. Give it a little more variety.

Yes, this would be very useful to know. Just a thought, mabye we can find the answers in some of the req files.

I've played with it a bit, but to no avail. I've PMed PAN-fnord on it, and he got back to me saying he'd look into it.

Huh? I'm the author of Bespin Platforms and I have never seen a custom loading screen.
But no, it's not possible. The way the loading is set up requires a main file to be overwritten each time a new loading screen is added, so even if we had the tools to do loading screens, it still wouldn't work since every time someone had a new loading screen it would override somebody else's.

I would guess not otherwise we'd know. It seems like it could potentially be easy enough to do, but that doesn't mean that it is, or in fact possible at all. I guess we're still waiting on PAN-fnord or someone to discover how.but has this issue been resolved?
EDIT: I hadn't seen Teancum's post when I was posting. Still it'd be nice to have our own loading screens but what can you do hey!

Sorry again - i found out for myself (after a few hours
)
For those who want to know:
You have to get the cameracoordinates as already posted here:
http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name ... opic&t=277
Then you edit the lua file of you map: Mine was here:
C:\BF2_ModTools\data_MAZ\Common\scripts\MAZ
and paste the coordinates at the end of that file - the one that comes after
"OpeningSateliteShot" is yout loading screen picture.
Greets - future
and thanks for the help anyway![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
