Adding Sound possible?

Havn´t found information about adding custom sounds or soundspaces/regions in the docs so i tried Psychofreds tut for SWBF1 but this seems no to work.

So my question is it possible to add custom sound or not?

I assume so... for example, in weapons, there are lines like this:

OrdnanceSound   	= "com_weap_inf_ord_hum_sm"
CollisionSound  	= "imp_weap_ord_exp"
(thats from the com_weap_award_rifle_ord file) which seem to indicate that the files are accessing the sound files from somewhere. If you find the folder the sounds are in, and change the sound (or add a new one and change the file that the weapon accesses) then it should play the new sound

Many more sound files are also referrenced in the hero .odf files as well

How do u get the vehicles to have sound, they spawn but with no sound

Psych0fred had made tutorial about how to add missing sounds for SWBF1. It´s still on his website.

But it doesn´t work for SWBF2. at least The soundmunge.bat content seems to be somewhat different.

I really need to find out how to add a soundspace so I can have an arena with reverb.

cant find anything in the documents apart from some sound regions have to have a certain shape region (doesnt even say which shapes lol)

-_- knows how to add sounds in swbf1........how to add missing sounds like from vehicles is easy and possible.........but in swbf2 i didn't try :P

Jawa, i´ve no problem to add missing sounds, soundspaces regions or completly new sounds in SWBF1 BUT it doesn´t work the same way in SWBF2!
