BF1 Map conversion tip thread

Tip #1 - Keep your TER file as read-only. You'll get a warning when saving in ZeroEdit, but the terrain will in-fact remain as it was. This is useful if you need to raise the terrain for things like placing spawn points, as no matter what you do to the terrain, it won't ever actually be saved that way. So, you could move it up to the height of an object, place the wld (ignoring the TER error), close Zero, start it back up and re-open and your spawn paths will be in the right place, but the terrain will be where it was.
