Map prefix names -- reserve yours now!

Okay, since we only have three letter prefixes to name our map folders, I thought it best that each one of us reserve our three prefix so that nobody overwrites anyone elses. Once I get home, I'll post the default map prefixes. This post will be constantly updated with the reserved prefixes in the following format:

DAG - Dagobah - Shipped with the game

NEW RULE: - You may only reserve two maps at any given time. If we reserve 8-9 maps per user we're going to fill up quickly, AND run out of prefixes quickly. Those who gave me prefixes to start on need to give me three total again. Once you release a map, you can have a new prefix.

Just a thought, you may have several people wanting to make different versions of dagobah or geonosis (for example) so the 3 letter prefix may not suffice as a description for the level. I know that you can't go above 3 letters so how about rather than the planet name prefix you have the modders name (1st 2 digits) followed by map number or version.

for instance CI1 for CarbineImpluse1 or TC1 for TeanCum1 ... 2 etc... RenDs1 etc... or use the last digit as a letter.. CIK for CarbineImpulse Kashykkk...

just an idea.. in which case I'd reserve the CI 2 digit prefix. what do other people think?

Well, you're welcome to reserve names in whatever manner you like. We only advise to try to make them somewhat close to the map name so that the show up in alphabetical order.

No prob. Definately will be modding for SWBF2 but no definate names as yet. In which case I'll reserve:

CI1 - To Be decided
CI2 - To Be decided
CI3 - To Be decided
CI4 - To Be decided
CI5 - To Be decided
CI6 - To Be decided
CI7 - To Be decided
CI8 - To Be decided
CI9 - To Be decided

Probably want more later but we'll see. Can we keep (and alphebetically order) the 1st post so people can use it as a reference to check.

I see that you listed already 8 prefixes for Bobafett16
but it´s completely useless if you reserve a lot of prefixes for maps you havn´t done yet!
Hey i released 8 maps for SWBF1 within 1 year!

Go on and make a list of prefixes of the map you are currently working on!

Instead of MAN, I think the Mandalorian Wars will take:

MXY

X = amount of number from 1-9
Y = amount of number from 1-9

just so nobody makes an 'M52' - because The Mandalorian Wars will hopefully use most of them :P

I updated the rules in the first post due to Rends' excellent point. You can now only reserve TWO map prefixes at any given time. When you release a map, you may reserve another. So if you're reserved more than two, please tell me the two you need for sure.

No, but then again a person can't just release a map to get another slot. It must be a very playable beta.
