Custom music?

Hmm, it seems that there is a good chance i might be making some episode 1 levels. However, does anyone know if its ok for me to add music from the episode 1 soundtrack(that i bought) to the game? Wasn't sure if that was allowed, since it sounds kinda iffy.

In my opinion, you could legally call Star Wars : Episode I sound-tracks in custom levels, since they can't be extracted from your project's compiled *.LVL files...

Here's the easy way: Download WinAmp, load up the Episode I soundtrack, minimize it. Go into SWBFII, head to the sound options, turn music all the way down. Ta da! A custom soundtrack.
Now, I don't know whether this would work with SWBFII, but the harder way would be finding a converter that can turn files into whatever SWBFII uses for sound(I assume it's .ogg). Then, rename all the tracks you've converted to the names of the sound files in the system files. Backup the original music files, and replace them with your dummy files. Tada! A dynamic custom soundtrack!

Tao', Star Wars Battlefront II sound-files must be encoded into the Wave file-format, as SWBF's... Also, replacing existing sound-tracks might not be possible, since they're all compiled and merged into *.LVL files, whose content is well-protected...

You might check for some really high quality MIDI files if you want to be totally safe. If you or someone online has a really nice sound card, they convert well to mp3/wav with fairly realistic results.
