i continually come up with good ideas for BF2 maps but i can't mod
So can anyone tell me a good place to find info on hex-editing and modding and other stufff like that?

At this moment we can only hexedit; Mod tools are not out yet.

are mod tools easier? the hex-editing looks confusing.

mod tools arent out yet for swbf2 so as with the other 100k of us wanting mod maps....hex editing is limited due to file compressions and size limits so we wait.

^However Hex editing is not as easy to use of get into as using mod tools. However, it is a useful tool

In fact, I was planning on releasing a tutorial on DF' instructions... Thus, the number of new GameToast members saying that "they don't understand those steps" might decrease once it'll be released...
