need help with 3 things

Post by uknightbreed »

hi im almost done making a jedi/hutt super stadium fot ctf.
but need help with 3 things.
1) i cant figure out how to put a rancor in !(will be a sort of goalie).

2) i have a jet trooper as the main soldier ,but it will not spawn until i get so many kills.i want instant spawn !is there another jettrooper odf i can use , or a way around it ?

3)i have a sunken circle shaped arena (rollerball race track) with a raised 'pitch' in the middle.im having trouble finding a decent set of high steps to lead from the outside track to the middle pitch.

any help /advice/point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

1) It's a building odf in the tatooine assets.
2) In the odf change the points needed to spawn to 0.
3) Take smaller steps and ple them on top of each other.

did you managed to add the rancor ?

what I did :
copy tat3_bldg_rancor.odf to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_TES\Worlds\TES\odf
copy tat3_bldg_rancor.zafbin, tat3_bldg_rancor.zaabin and tat3_bldg_rancor.anims to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_TES\Common\munged
copy tat3_bldg_rancor.tga and tat3_bldg_rancor.msh to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_TES\Worlds\TES\msh
copy the folder tat3_bldg_rancor to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_TES\Animations\Prop

then I placed a rancor on my map with zeroeditor
(I selected tat3_bldg_rancor.odf)

then, when I try the map in bf2 it crashes

does anyone know what I missed ?

thanks
