you mean like some sort of chart or thumbnails of what the .odf/.msh files look like before you select them?
if so, I'd like that too.

I normally select an object in ZE and my first view of the object is just before I get ready to place it...then if I don't like the thing I have to backtrack...

odf files are just text files and there is no viewer for the msh files.

what about making a "handbook"? Add an object to a map, take screenshot (or something similar), then create a guide with that pic and the filename as it appears in the tools?

guess I could try it....

Yeah thats exactly what I was looking for. The fact the are text files explains a lot but seeing as they can be viewed just before they are placed means some sort of conversion is going on.

Theres a zillion objects and when you are looking for a certian building are you just relying on your personal knowledge of the maps like ohh that Mygeeto building would be nice looking for it manually in the Mygeeto files?

Thats really long winded, surely theres a viewer for these files. If there isnt then its truly long winded and a ton of time would be wasted looking for a certain building and all the associated files. Oh well maybe Im the lazy type.

But understand tho as the finished building is cross referrencing to make the final thing. Would have thought that there was a cross referencing viewer within the tools to view the objects in a seperate view window or something.
