How do I add new maps to SWBF2?

can someone please tell me how to add new maps into starwars battlefront 2

first, you need to set up a folder like this...

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon

(or wherever you installed star wars battlefront 2)

Then, download away! and extract the map files into your addon folder. Done.

ok i made a addon folder and exctracted everything into that folder

but nothing shows up in my battlefront game

The new map should show up in the Instant Action map selection area. What map are you attempting to play? What are the extracted files and their locations?

AND... did u restart BF2 coz if u add a map after launching BF1/2 then it won't show up. Oh and - u r checking the instant action list, right?

Make sure you open them far enough !! ie: the 3 letter name like Rends Coruscant City should read CO1 or yavin arena YVN these should be what you see in your addon folder.....

Must maps come with a readme which should explain how to extract!!!

ok i got it

i wasnt putting the main map folder into the addon and instead i was putting in both the data and addme script

thanks for all the help

i absolutly love these new maps!
