Right, so I of course have started to work on the first map for Rise of the Empire. Problem is, I placed 5 CPs on the map...but, in game, there are like 8 CPs. Why is this happening? My .wld file is perfect. My .lua files have been adjusted for the extra CP. I did happen to merge my two layers when I started creating the map, but that should not have changed anything.
Anyways...can anyone help? I really like to fix this.
Also, I wanted to know how to change the name of a map (not the three-letter code). It may be necessary in the future, and it was easily doable in SWBF. I also need to change the description of my map, LOL.
As for sides, to add multiple sides, is it done the same way? And the turret side, tur, is it necessary for all maps?
I hope you all can help me answer these questions, or else my map will never get done and the mod will never happen, which would suck, considering that I have TONS and TONS of skins for it. I also have skins for maps that are outside of the mod.

You probably have CP's on both your base layer and your conquest layer. They should all be on your conquest layer.

I too am trying to get a campaign up and running. I've started my first level as well, but have you found any info on actually piecing the campaign together so you can play it in game? I've found numerous files that you would need to edit to get the campaign to work, but i'm not sure how you would implement them.

layers are the best thing that exist!!! it gives a very huge variation of gametypes!! oh guys its just 2 clicks to switch one layer to the other one Oo!! the basic layer is for the map layout .......models that will be there in every game type but if you want that a house just appears in conquest mode you place the model in conquest layer...........!!!
