Unexplained crash

So I was adding 3 units that I ported to swbf2, and I got them working in game successfully the first try. However, a few points on one of the units was improperly weighted, so I fixed this in xsi, reexported the model, and I also changed one of the unit's weapons while I was at it. After remunging though, it now crashes with nothing of note in the error log. Tried a manual clean, no affect. I then removed the 2 units I changed from when it was working (one where I edited the weights, the other where I just changed its weapon) from the LUA, ran a full manual clean, and it still crashes. I then removed the 3rd unit from the lua, as well as 2 more custom units I had added previously, and ran yet another manual clean, no luck.
I found nothing useful in the error log, but I have included it below anyway in case I missed something. There are a couple things I'm aware of in there, like missing explosions and stuff, but none of that is new. I've been trying to deal with this for many hours now to no avail; any help or suggestions would be appreciated
EDIT the weapon that I changed on one of the units is the same weapon that was working on a different custom unit, so that likely isn't the issue

check out your user scripts. Looks like there are many duplicated. And they affect the weapons. I guess it's the remove award weapons mod. So this could crash your mod. remove them and check again

Didn't work, as expected, bc I've had all those in there for a long time. I did get it working by removing all the "dc:" in the side loading parts of the lua, so I must have made some mistake with a different unit by mistake. I am continuing to investigate and narrow it down, but the error is almost certainly somewhere in the sides

well your weapons are part of the sides and the remove award weapons script (as far as i remember) loads a default file instead of the actually loaded one. That way parts like award weapons are overwritten. No matter what you are doing. And this can conflict with your other things. So i'd get rid of it

Well I tried removing the userscripts, all of them, and it still crashed. Plus none of my other maps have had this prob, and they have most of the same weapons as this one, all with the userscript running. Where I'm at now is that I found one unit that didn't work, and I returned it to it's stock, unedited odf's found in the assets. I clean, munge, and it works, with the stock form of the unit - in this case, an imp engineer. I know with certainty that this unit is one of the problems, because with it in stock form, copied and pasted from the assets, it works. However, when I apply any change to it and munge, it crashes again, and I have no idea why. This unit, with all of the changes (one custom model and one custom weapon) were both working fine before, and I have used both this exact model and the exact weapon on other maps without issue. All the requisite files for the model and the weapon are in the side folder, and even if they weren't, I'd at least get an error about it (something like missing geometry), which does not appear in the error log. I have very little idea what to do at this point.

EDIT I completely deleted my side folder, ran a full clean, and started rebuilding my side again a second time from scratch. It'll be a while before I redo all of the changes, but I am able to make changes to units without it crashing, so I should be able to rebuild it successfully. I have no idea what was causing this to happen, but I seemed to have bypassed whatever it was. I'll leave the thread open for a while as I rebuild the sides just in case it happens again, but once I am able to get everything working I'll label the thread solved

EDIT II: I'm running into some issues again, but I found some discrepancies in the assets ALL folder, I must have messed something up there. I'll delete and reinstall the modtools to get a fresh assets folder and see if that helps

I'm running into errors again. I was able to edit units for a while for the imp side, but then whenever I try to do anything with the alliance it crashes. All I do is put "dc:" in front of the alliance readdatafile in the lua, and that causes a crash. The ALL side folder is literally just copied and pasted from the assets - I did nothing to it all. Common folder is in there as well. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the modtools and used the ALL side folder from those assets, to ensure that there was nothing wrong with the asset folder, and it still crashes. I made no changes to the stock side at this point, I just need to get it to load from within the mod file rather than the stock game file. (A small side note, while I have gotten all imp units the way I want them, it crashes when I try to add custom vehicles. All the vehicle's files are in the right place)
This is my 6th map, and I've never seen the game crash so inexplicably like this. I have done all of these things before on other maps, and idk what's different.

Just tried, no effect, still crashes whenever I try to load ALL from the mod file. At this point I'll just munge a new world and put my existing file in it, starting over from as far back as I can without losing the world file itself, which I know works.
I'm trying to thing what is different with this map from my others, and all I can say is that the terrain file is a lot larger; and the fact that I added rain seems to contribute to the lighting overload where missile lights and such disappear. It seems unlikely that this would affect the side folder this dramatically, but it's not impossible I guess

well i'm not that familiar with mapping. I was doing side mods and interface scripting. Maybe you can ask on the discord server as well. May be a fast way to find a solution
