Coding Question

My idea may have already been done (i'm sure of it), but i'm trying to pit storm troopers luke + han, leia and chewbacca against darth vader and storm troopers.

Do i put them all where the normal troops should be? Seeing as they're heros, i'm not sure.

Yes, then they will have a health bar like in Mos Eisley assault.

one other thing though - aftr i've coded and i want to test it, the game reverts back to my desktop. I know this means that my coding is corrupt, but is there a good reliable way of going over the coding?

Well you might want to have a look at some mods to see hoe they did it but I think your problem is that you didn't replace the remaining characters with 0 in the hex line. And you didn't change the file size when the new line has more characters then the one it is being replaced by.

This is quite tricky. Someone posted some valuable info on this. I don't know where but I think Leviathan knows.

ok, i have been replacing with zeros (in hex line) but it is still cutting out.

maybe its just me...
