Um, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum and topic for this,
but where can I contact "Majin Revan" I'd like freedom to edit some of his clone and empire commando assets from filefront.com
I just want to change the .odf's like the fire rate and shot size rate of fire etc...

(p.s. I've had bad experiences emailing people as I something get no reply and am left waiting for a long time before giving up, and I can't find anything about him using Gametoast "Search")

from the commandos readme: its pretty strict, if you cant contact him then you cant modify it

this is definitelly an pm-issue, if MajinRevan doesnt respond after some time you can try emailing him

Right here? Plus there were several topics made for requests like this (to contact original makers) and they all ended up without a conclusion . I really don't think another topic will be more noticed than a PM?

Technically, you ARE e-mailing him if you PM him. You get a notification e-mail when you're pm'd.

Please don't create a topic asking him, this topic is also unnecessary since he clearly states in the README what you must do in order to modify his files.

Personally I think not allowing modders to modify released source files is silly because that's what we do, if you don't want people modifying your work then don't release it, but you must respect his wishes here and just use his or create your own, an ODF is not hard to make by any means.

I'm locking this topic since it was answered in the second post, if another Staff member wants to chime in or override this then feel free to do so.
