Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I've changed this accounts password. I guess that means I can't entirely leave gametoast due to the mod contest. I want to see it through. I still have all my mod assets backed up, so I can return whenever I decide to.

Hello GT! Time without going through here, it's good to go back and see great things you are doing.
At the time I was away from the forum happened to the hard drive of my computer broke down and I lost so much of the models, maps and other projects being undertaken, including the TCW Venator Class Star Destroyer.
Yeah, I know, I should back up the information but I could not do before.
I have no longer the same time available to do many things, not to play BF, but I can help with my short experience who are new to this fun entertainment. Greetings again.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I always wished that had been released If only there was a decompiler thing someone could get the model out of the demo you made Well if wishes were fishes... Anyway, welcome back!!ForceMaster wrote:Hello GT! Time without going through here, it's good to go back and see great things you are doing.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I have no idea if anyone remembers me, but I was, for better or worse, a pretty active member for several years here. Created some poorly-received mods, none of which were completed to my satisfaction due to a mix of problems including computer crashes, loss of interest, etc. Very pleased to see GameToast is still alive and kicking after so many years.
Anyway, I have a new computer, a fresh install of BF2 with a very old addon folder, and an equally old secondary addon folder with so many maps I can't even remember the full names for. (And probably enough to break the mission limit several times over!) I'm hoping to give modding another try using the remainder of my last project, even if it's the opposite of ambitious.
I'm much more disciplined about things than I once was and don't plan to show off anything until I feel it's actually nearly complete, unlike before where I'd show one picture and brag about it endlessly. Hopefully I can chop together something worth releasing at some point

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Hey guys, I've been busy with life. Hence Earth: Apocalypse has received few updates. Well, the good news is I am now ready to resume active progress on my project. I will post a status update in the 3D art thread + what I hope to accomplish in a given time frame. Note I will be giving myself a lot of time to do these things, but I hope they are reasonable . I just really want my project to be great and not some boring [can of root beer]. I will be talking to everyone who I remember helping with this project to see where they're at. I will also PM everyone with a friendly reminder of everything I would like done, and related info. With that, I'm back and I will also be helping as many people as I know how to. Perhaps even writing a "Battlefront 2 guide for n00bs (beginners)" That answers a lot of questions that I see on the board in a "n00b" friendly format. I think I will post a thread and get some feedback before I write it, as I am moderately aware of the other tutorials out there. Anyhow, I should be active again and I hope to make lots of progress with my project!

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Oh yeah the tank... today was the first day I could work on it because I didn't have a lot going on... Well, now I have my last set of finals in the next 2 days, then schools out so over the summer I will be able to work on it hopefully

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Greetings all.
With the announcement of Battlefront 3 (or whatever name they decide to give it) I figured I would roam these parts of the dark interwebz again.
I dunno who all remembers me, but just dropping in a hello.
Also, I figured I'd try to get back into the texturing gig so if anyone has any models they need textured and wants to give me a shot let me know (no promises on results...)

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Welcome back JabbaLovesLava! I don't remember you, be cause I'm (relatively) new to the boards. I am working on Earth: Apocalypse, and I would be interested to see you texturing abilities. Do you think you could help me with my project? If this sounds like to much to ask so suddenly, don't feel bad to say no. However, if you are interested, can you please send me a Private Message (PM)? Thanks!

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I think I'll be hanging around these forums much more now that the new Star Wars: Battlefront has been announced. I might just make a few more maps before it drops... there's still some life left in the old Zero engine yet I reckon.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I know I haven't been on lately, and now I'm leaving. Bye.
I'll be back in two weeks, this week I'm going on a mission trip and the week after that to Maine. See you then!

Cya around Cleb. Have fun in Maine, haven't gotten to see it myself. My mom says it's beautiful, and I once did a school project on Maine. Definitely a place I will visit eventually.
