3pm EST, 8pm London time
Conquest
Two warmup maps (to make sure everyone that wants to try out can join)
Three recruitment maps

When the session is over, score screens will be posted and then I need [GT] members to PM their top 5 favorites. Score is only part of the issue. Teamplay, maturity and fair play will also be factors in deciding.

So come join in the fun!!!

Sounds Great! Just out of curiosity, will there be any more recruitment dates after this one? Cause' I'll be busy on sunday. And I'm sure there are several who are as well.

I think Teancum said there would be more recruiting sessions, so we should expect more...

The news announcement on the home page said something about passwords. Any more information on that?

I will be traveling on Sunday and during those times I will be either in a plane or in a car. So I won't be able to handle administering the server. Nor will I be able to update the stats page. I should be able to be around about 8 PM EST.

-When will tryouts end, approximately?

-Will there be password(s), and if so, how do I get them?

-Would there be risk of lag on the U.S. West Coast?

And also, if any of the maps are GCW, I don't play Imperial and therefore -might have problems with an autoselect only server...

why dont you play with imperials?

We are setting the rank up later after a month and our new clan area is up we can set ranks for everyone. right now its a free for all with some leadership basically. A very loosely setup clan.

to answer your questions : When will tryouts end, approximately?
tryouts are ranked based on skillz using our custom rank stats system and after 1 hour the tryouts are done.

THere is a password , it will be posted on the day of the event. or xfire gtguru or gtteancum

There will be lag on any coast. There is no way to not have lag with several players on a server.

And also, if any of the maps are GCW, I don't play Imperial and therefore -might have problems with an autoselect only server...
All players will play auto select , if you feel strongly about not playing Imperial , that is your choice and you should avoid joining [GT] as we all have the bird flu.
