Not Playing BW Ever Again

Ok, I played in my first Battleweek on Friday night. I played 6 games with two guys in TAW named Chip and Crosshair. Let me just say I got my arse handed to me. Every game seemed that my stats were getting worse and worse. They both got around 40+ kills while I was in the teens with just as many deaths as kills.

I won't be playing BW ever again. Why? It just was not fun, at all. To spawn and within a minute I was sniped from across the map was just down right frustrating, and for that matter, embarassing for me and our clan. It was really sad. I just want to have fun playing the game and if the game on Friday was any indication of what BW is about, I don't want to be involved.

Sorry guys, but trust me, the clan will be better off without my stats.

Don´t get to frustrated.
While playing BW8 i lost the first 12 matches. Yes it nervs if you seems to have no luck but it will come back sooner or later.
And I´m a CP guy not going for kills but Commandposts so it isn´t unusual if i get more deaths than kills.
So don´t give up yet!

lol, Pez. i don't know if you tried looking at OUR stats also? lol, just to say that your not the only one who gets scored on lots, but also, Chip and Crosshair are some amazing players, there are lots of em out there, but we can still beat em.

P.S.: try to play games against more than 2 pplz, there's a stat for avg. opponents played, and its best to play against a whole diff bunch of pplz.

Chip and Crosshair are PROS to kill

I personally only fight in at LEAST 5vs5 games, because THATS where the TRUE battle begins. I've seen a LOT of CP Capturing, if you play in less than 4vs4

You are still new to the game, and I have more than 8 months of gaming experience

but GT don't mind to get some lost games :)

Pez, if you get on Xfire and TS then I'll contact you if we get some large battles, and you can try the BEST games :D

Read the tips and tricks section of the private gt forum. Lots of good junk in there.

Those where just 1vs1 games. It would be nice to see what a 4vs4 or more would be like. I was proud of a few shoots I got on those guys, but for the most part they were very good players. I guess I need to find some players that are more at my experience level next time.

Here are my stats for those 6 games.

I rarely play 1v1s, my first two were this battleweek. I find the bots and where they spawn decides the out come, not player skill.

Yeah PE i wouldnt stress over it! Its a game and we dont get $9999 for winning as a clan or anything.
Its all about fun so yeah look for more gt guys to join you and i think you will like it more! Besides you went from the noob zone to the frying pan when you picked 2 gusy from taw that literally play swbf before they eat. find some other clans to play or someone on taw with less then GOD swbf skills. You so 1337!

1v1 is a risky option in BW, especially if it's the first BW you've been in. I'd say Jabba's Palace is the only map I'd consider playing 1v1 since you can have a better chance of holding the CPs with mines, as well as getting a decent kill count; even so, I don't like 1v1 that much, my thinking being that I may as well play vs the computer. Surely the idea about being in a clan is testing yourself with some teammates against organised opposition (I regularly pwn on the public servers but there is no organisation and the players are mostly teamkilling retards). The 8v8 we had against TAW was great and what I think BW should be all about.

Get yourself on Xfire or Teamspeak and get in a 3v3 or bigger so that you can get some cover from the team. After a few matches like that your confidence and skill will improve.

lol, whats with everybody bashing 1v1's????!!!?!?!?!?!?! I LOVE 1v1's!!!

although yes, i will admit that 2v2's or higher are funner, i won't say no to a 1v1 challenge :)

I agree with saturn that the best map for 1v1's is Jabba's, since there's soo many bots in a small map that it don't matter where you are, you'll still be a piece of the action. But i've played 1v1's on kamino, Cloud city, even Rend's 1st Bounty Hunters map (those were goood times, lol, i Won with the Imps on that map :)).

Metal On, and hope we can get a 8v8 running soon :) gtpwn
