Issue with increasing foliage sight distance [SOLVED]
I have a really large, open map that I want totally (for the most part) covered in foliage. I increased the view distance in the prp file to 5000, and did so as well in the foliage odf, yet whenever I munge and run the game, it still only shows a few hundred meters before fading out. It's still increased some from the 50 or so meters it has as the stock setting, so it did something, but not quite to the degree I had in mind. I did a manual clean to ensure both files (prp and odf) were munged in their properly edited form and remunged from scratch, to no avail. Foliage is different than other objects, so I don't really know how or even if it's possible to add a lowrez texture to it, if that's the issue. Is there just some impassable limit the game has on foliage view distance, or is there some way to circumvent the issue?

You need to edit Near and Far scene values in the .SKY file.

I had increased the far scene values, but not the near, as I didnt know it mattered. It works now though; thank you very much!
