Editing an Existing Mod

I apologize if this is a stupid question. I've tried searching the forums, but I haven't had any luck.

Is it possible to change a single detail, like the color of a lightsaber, to an existing mod?

What I'm attempting to do is change Ahsoka's lightsaber color to white in the finished Saga mod. It's easy enough to change on my end, but without the assets, I'm not sure how to implement it into that mod specifically. Hopefully, my intention here makes sense. Love the mod, just wish I could change that little detail.
