Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
In every single piece of cloth in that video, they capes move through the unit's arms, legs, and backs. You can see this especially Lando's cape, and even Vader's at the start of the video (his arm goes through the cape). Again, I am not trying to be offensive, I am just saying what I see.

Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
Hm I see. I admit that some capes still have some collision issues. I will take a look at them and move/resize necessary collisions. I just was statisfied to have these ugly cape-transformations fixed. I've been working on these during the past two days.

You can do that by assigning multiple lightsaber weapons to the primary weapon slot.Anakin wrote:star killer has changing lightsaber color?? Didn't know that is possible.

That Tatooine announcement audio is really echoey/reverb-y (and loud!) especially since it can only be heard in that confined bar area. Consider toning down the echo filter you used or have the soundstream be affected in "real time" by using a soundspace.

Yeah but I believe the maximum was 2. I tried adding a third lightsaber but it never showed up or the second one never showed up.Teancum wrote:You can do that by assigning multiple lightsaber weapons to the primary weapon slot.Anakin wrote:star killer has changing lightsaber color?? You was not the first one to tell me that. I always thought it might be better to hear that announcement(+the both music tracks which are being played) everywhere at the central place on this map. I thought this announcement was meant to be heard outside the bar too as well. I will reduce the size of the Sound region.AQT wrote:That Tatooine announcement audio is really echoey/reverb-y (and loud!) especially since it can only be heard in that confined bar area. i wonder why the cloth is stretched while sprinting.
@Kingping: don't worry before release the cloth will be fixed.

Guys, I would like a Galactic Conquest mode where they have the modernized eras, complete with updated cutscenes.

I don't want to speak for these guys working on this, but from what I know I hardly expect the latter half of that request to be possible.Domino555 wrote:Guys, I would like a Galactic Conquest mode where they have the modernized eras, complete with updated cutscenes.

Would be cool, but it's not at all in the scope of this mod. They're recreating the feel of SWBF3 with the only map they can, Coruscant.Domino555 wrote:Guys, I would like a Galactic Conquest mode where they have the modernized eras, complete with updated cutscenes.

Patience is a virtue Domino. Modding is very complex and requires a lot of effort, practice, interest (and a little talent but that is beside the point). I am sure TheLegend, Anakin and other contributing modders are working on this project at a comfortable pace for all of them. As you probably know mods are not something you can throw together in one day, it can take weeks, months, heck even years since modding as I reiterated in a different topic "a hobby." Most people who mod the game work full time so the only "free time" they have is after work (most modders probably have families they want to spend time with) or the weekends.Domino555 wrote:Well, any other news, you guys?

Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
I wonder if there will be other Battlefront 3 Legacy maps after this one. I'm sure that there are at least 15-20 different maps on the cancelled BF3.
Also, because its Space to Ground, please. I do not want to see that trooper bug where they are bugged looking thinking they are on the ground on the capitals like the other space/sky to ground maps you made. Maybe a team 3 and team 4 for the capitals. That way they don't affect conquest mode reinforcements.

Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
At the moment there is not much to say/show you. The next, larger update will show you the finished version of Supremacy. Also many minor things and changes have been made. For example here's a short video showcasing the new General Grievous with newer animations and weapons. I also explained some other things there in its description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSu2A5Y_Gdc
By the way let's start a small poll. Which music track would you like to hear when you play as General Grievous (As a hero on stock maps)?
There are three you can choose from:
-The stock music track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7Zjf8s36hI (It's not bad but it's already heard in the vanilla game)
-The one referred to be his theme from the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Ed_Vu5Z4Q (I really like this one and is pretty fresh. However it is heard as already existing music tracks when playing as the CIS)
-His first appearance theme heard in Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6afF2bASCs (My personal favourite to be honest. It just would need to be edited a bit since it was never officially released(Also used in the video I first linked in this post))
To be honest I think about the third one. But I am also interested in listening to the people and what they have to say.

Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
With regards to the third one, why not ask the composer if he'd be willing to share the original track? I think James L. Venable was the composer for the first season, in which Grievous first appeared.

Haha that run animation looks so funny. But great it's something new But force choke?? really?? It's still a machine with an living heart.
about git, i'm currently not working on the mod and i think i pushed the most changes. The others are a little bit thrifty with commits and pushs

Re: Battlefront III Legacy [WIP 7/1 - Small Update]
Yeah Anakin is right about Git. At the moment I do not want to push too much up since most stuff is not stable yet. It's like working on a texture and just half of the texture is finished. I think it'd be better to push the whole, finished texture before attempting to work on the model. I hope you can still follow me.
Because of force choke: Grievous doesn't use the force. In order to choke someone you have to stand right in front of him. He uses his arms (New animation) and chokes them physically. Maybe the choking animation itself needs to be replaced then.
