GameFront is now officially Shut Down

At exactly 7:20 UTC, Gamefront became unresponsive while I was trying to save the Battlefront 1 mods. You will now have to visit their new site FilesNation, but everything is now hone for good. At 7:19, the site was still up and the last mod I ever got to download from that site was Elite Sides mod 1.0.

Also, has anyone by any chance tried saving all of the SWBF1 mods as well?

Edit 1: Nvm, its back up. It was shut down for about 6 minutes.

Edit 2: It seems that the site is here and there going offline and back online again. These could be the signs that GameFront could shut down at any time now.

Edit 3: gamefront.com is gone now. gamefront.online however is up and working. So I guess it's semi-saved. FilesNation is the new forums.

I saved some of the Battlefront 1 Mods from Gamefront but only the good ones. I know people want to save as many as they can but I feel like the better maps need to be saved so people can keep an interest in the game. If people are stuck with a bunch of first time maps, they will most likely not want to play on Battlefront 1 or even Battlefront 2 for that matter. I have only a third of the downloaded mods for Battlefront 1 totaling about 390 mods/maps. As for Battlefront 2 as you know, I got around 875 mods which is probably around the number you have if you were downloading everything from the site.

Looks like Gamefront shut down after all, now the website is escapistmagazine.com. Good thing you downloaded all the Battlefront 2 mods from the website!
