Hey, I just got done playing your Empire Rising Sides Mod and thought it was fantastic! I did not have a single problem with the gameplay and thought the sides were even (even though when i did a video it seemed like my numbers were dropping dramatically but that is because they were all dying quickly, link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l74Unux ... DgOEosHZCQ). I also enjoyed the both the first and third person POV's and made it feel more like a realistic game! Can not wait for more of your mods and maps.

The Setting is similar to my mod : D But I think your's is way more

By the way: I wonder why a lot of modders (or just three in my memory..) make/ create mods that take place between Episode three and four.
Example were:
Your Empire Rising Mod,
Racoons After Ordner 66,
Sheldons before the empire mod,
and racoons before. the. empire.....lol same name
ahhh and dark times.
Ok the last one is older than the thr- four above. Anyway I like the empire team or side. So...Nice mod twinkey.

Ive been reading the past posts and I thought I would let you guys now that ive been keeping note of all of the suggestions and bugs. im working to fix those for another beta soon. Sorry about the award weapons, I forgot to remove those lines from the common odf's. I will adress the specific ones right away. Thank you guys so much for your invaluable feedback. Ill have to nerf the empire slightly it seems, though for most mods it seems like the empire is prone to win on the deathstar XD. New goodies will be added soon enough. Thanks mike for the video, it gave me some very interesting insight. Im usually the one making videos for other people's mods and its an enlightening feeling to see the same done for my mod. I really enjoyed it!

The mod is just great. But there's always a "but". Here I will list some bugs and problems I've found while playing:
Bugs:
-Every blaster pistol that fires green bolts create a giant glowing square around who fires (in 3rd person view). This glow is supposed to be the"muzzle flash" of the shot coming out.
-When you fire at something (wall, object, enemy) the sparks are also displayed as small glowing squares.

I know you said you'll change the name of the mod but just in case. As the mod is now called "Extended Civil War" it interferes with another mod called DEV´s Side Mod that has an era with the name "Extended Civil War" too.

Hmm? Interesting bug. However this seems be an isolated incident with the sqaure muzzle flash. mike's vid shows that this is not the case for him or me so im thinking maybe its something in your settings? Go ahead and post your settings and ill test it. Im going to post some more progress soon, I applied some more fixes/suggestions.

My best guess is that its a video card issue. Im getting a lot of people who it seems to work fine for, maybe you can post your setting miles? Or a screen shot of all your settings so i can compare and test?

I have a pretty new nvidia card, it happened on high and low resolutions/settings. I noticed it didn't show in the video, but its exactly what you see when you forgot to include textures for the effects.

Could it be because of the HUD?? In the video he plays with the Convo Pack 2.0 HUD, and I did not. If it isn't tell me that I'll take a picture of my video settings.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:Hmm? *New Death watch unit (Replace the trandoshan as officer class) (Also its the new deviss/icemember death watch model, credit to deviss for the base skin from which heavy editing was done. Credits will be updated soon)
*Trandoshan class now the rifleman class for the mercinary side(Replaces Kel Dor)

The Kel Dor is no longer a Unit, however his image will be kept to archive the progress of the mod.
Thank you Generalfacu, im taking a look at that issue as we speak. I figure I can just use some properties from the rifle odf's as comparison since they dont seem to be giving people that muzzle problem. Its been an extremely helpful piece of information, ty agian.

@mileshighguy im looking into that wonderful low res suggestion for the twilek.

Is the new BETA ready? Because I downloaded the BETA again and the Kel Dor are still a class.
