I was going through deviss's old model pack and found a lot of neat looking models. I thought I would dedicate some time to make his new rebel model a more suiting reskin. Credit to Caleb1117 and unit33 for base and face texture. Working on changing the thigh pieces of armor soon.

Still needs some adjustment: I haven't blended the whites and greys in the middle of the face very well yet and the vent seems off. The mesh mouth was deliberate as I read that the mouth has a mesh texture instead of the grille it had before. I was also thinking of modifying the body textures but as we don't have a full-body shot, I think I'll leave it until we get one.

Probably not. This was just a test, really, to see if the texture would fit the stock model properly. It does quite well, I think. Besides that, it'll be a good year before we even get to see the kind of material that we could actually use in a side mod.

It's not THE perfect skin, but I think it's an OK one (and I become better and better at this kind of stuff).

Please rate this (honestly). I'm curious to know what do you think of this.

Only thing left is: Find how to add the cape and the the "torso thing" and the antenna on the helmet, and the jetpack (as seen here) to him.

Add some damage ;)
Take the kape and torso thing from the stock arc trooper. You can take the antenna from acemembers(?) clonecommander, jetpack from jango stock asset

Not exactly a model, but here's my WIP of my High-Res retexture of the Hoth tunnels. I haven't realised how awful the wrap is on those things.

Maybe you want to make a “HD“ Version of hoth that replace the stock map.
And later on we may get a whole “swbf2 HD mod“ :music:

To be honest, with the method I use it wouldn't be too hard to replace the input texture (that dark metal) and create a quick mock-up of the concrete bunker skin. Once I'm done with my version, I'll give it a try. Also, keep it mind this is a 1024x1024 texture, but it still looks like tauntaun crap, since there are so many details crammed on that TGA (and the wrap, as I said, is horrendous).

EDIT: Also, is there a tutorial on how to edit the speculars of a model?

EDIT2: Ignore the grills; you'll get your HD tunnels, mate! :)
