That's weird; it kinda looks like that concept art has some in-game rendered looking assets in it. The characters and some portions of the background namely.

Ueah, on the first one you can see weighting clipping on the left guys legs. Maybe they posed some characters they already had and then painted the environment around them. Why should you paint the characters over and over again?
Either way, looks very beautiful.

I love this "screenshot". What a cool idea, making an astromech a fire can.Lephenix wrote:Hidden/Spoiler:
As to why you see rendered models in with concept art, my guess is given the mocap technology they're using it may be faster to give more depth to concepts by using mocap to pose 3D models, then superimpose them onto the scene?

I agree with Tean on the astro droid fire can. It's a very clever idea.

Saw plenty of tramp freighters scurrying around in that underground scene, (including the one you mentioned). Hope to see some YT-series variants in various stages of modification; it's totally era-appropriate. I'm really excited to see this world fleshed out, the pre-production art is great. I'm surprised at the amount of colors in them, it seems they've desaturated things quite a bit in the actual game so far.yuke5 wrote:The game looks well produced. To little material to judge gameplay yet though. The world the game is set in seems promising.

Looks like I was right on nearly all accounts, sweet. Loving all this concept art.THEWULFMAN wrote:I imagine we will get a slightly grittier, slightly bloodier, slightly more swearier and slightly boobier game, which makes it overall darker.

Yeah, we understand why it is PEGI 18 with all those concepts now.

Looks a bit kind of like 1990 Total Recall on Mars.

She's also in the remake.
The futuristic urban slum setting just reminds me of the place where all the mutants lived.

It seems that things are going along pretty smoothly. I can tell from the differences in the trailers that they already tweaking and improving as they go. It seems that Lucasarts is in deep, and they need an amazing game to save the company, so they'll make one.

Wub Wub Wub.
They're definitely using Unreal and DX11. Unless Epic didn't update the Unreal Frontend this looks more like the UE3 version, so maybe no next-gen game with UE4.

Oh yeah Rends I completely agree actually. I noticed that many of the same game elements from uncharted were present in this game too, like the playable cinematics and...
