About Kurtz: When it comes to breaking into people's buildings, how far is too far? For example, am I allowed to tunnel through floors to look for hidden rooms? (Especially if I see poeples' names underground beneath me)

Re: DimoCraft
Too far is filling it with TNT.
Basically, if the destruction has a purpose (like getting to what you think is a hidden room) go for it. If it's destruction for the sake of destruction... well, do unto others and all that Golden Rule jazz.

Aw man, Kurtz is the most exciting thing since sliced bread. People should post when there's lots of people on Kurtz.

Anyway, I went on Kurtz yesterday and died of starvation. I guess the difficulty is hard.

Re: DimoCraft
Heads up - inventory was the same on Dimo and GTia. Might want to change that. (or did you want us to bring stuff from GTia into Dimo?)

Re: DimoCraft
Kurtz and Piet are the only worlds with isolated inventories. Dimo, GTia, and Huxley all shared one, but now Huxley is gone, so it's just Dimo and GTia now. But they run on your "main inventory" so they'll be grouped together with any and all worlds that aren't Kurtz and Piet.

Re: DimoCraft
Our new DimoGov building, located across from DimoCorp (near the Christmas tree). Check it out!
Some nice shots of Christhornton92's floating village in Piet (Chris isn't from GT if you're wondering)

OK so unless I'm mistaken that's the normal texpack but with different lighting? That's REALLY cool, how does that work?Dohnutt wrote:Our new DimoGov building, located across from DimoCorp (near the Christmas tree). Yep! Makes everything beautiful.Twilight_Warrior wrote:http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/940 ... dows-more/
And the texture pack is actually Coterie Craft, which is basically just a beautified version of the default pack.

Re: DimoCraft
OK So I got CC, which is awesome, but I can't for the life of me figure out the way to get the shaders. Trying to get Optifine and can't get THAT to work.

Re: DimoCraft
Dohnutt, on Piet I accidentally fell down to a height of -11000 and I can't use the /kill command to kill myself...
And I did some math and it'll take about an hour to fly all the way up to bedrock, so could you please enable /kill in creative or something else so I can escape? Thanks.

First...
...how?
Second
We'll have to /tp you. Just let someone with that authority (like me or Dohnutt) know the next time you're on, and we'll getcha out.

The shaders aren't officially updated to 1.3 yet.GangsterJawa wrote:OK So I got CC, which is awesome, but I can't for the life of me figure out the way to get the shaders. Trying to get Optifine and can't get THAT to work.
Optifine is, but you have to download the "B2 Ultra" version.
After installing Optifine, you need to install the shaders.
Go to the GLSL shaders mod page and install that.
Then you can get Sonic Ether's v10 RC2 shaders here.
Plop those into your shaders folder and put the SEUS zip file into your texture packs folder.
It takes heavy editing to get Coterie Craft to work with v10 right now. I have it working, and I suppose I can post it sometime if y'all like.

Re: DimoCraft
I've got a complaint.
I built a platform high in the sky in Kurtz. I logged out and when I logged back in I FELL all the way down. The chunk didn't load fast enough! Is it just me or is it loading slowly? I REALLY HATE building a giant pillar of something to get all the way back up there, just to come back down and destroy it again. This happened twice.

I have also experienced something similar to this, I was digging out an area around a zombie spawner in Dimo at about y=40 and I fell down to the first layer of bedrock and had to dig myself back out when I logged in.Noobasaurus wrote:I've got a complaint.
