Hey, I didn't say they were perfect.

Hey. This is a VERY serious subject.
What I was trying to say was, that doesn't really look like sand markings to me. More a general dirtiness and wear. In Summary - adding marks like that doesn't look bad, but I don't think you should call it sand.

Simple Coruscant Guard/Shock Trooper skin. I wanted to make my own which was more "marooney."
I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, although the battle damage could use more work.

Any advice would certainly be very welcome.
Forgot to mention that this skin goes on the HD version of the stock trooper model made by Labj, and that the original white skin by Labj.

Picture of the original skin in-game:
Picture of NEW Engineer skin:
The engineer skin was a lot of fun to make. One thing I wanted to make sure of of is that there was less wear and tear, and engineers would see less combat than standard infantry, but I didn't want to skimp on the scratches either. It was a little challenging getting the same theme across models, but I think I accomplished that. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Nice how they're all unique and distinct from each other.

Actually not, I just looked at them and pressed "4" on my numpad to give the "follow me" command.

Seems like you like to make dirty stormies even though they look so shiny in plane white
:stormie:
Ontopic:
You should add more parts where you can hardly see the white anymore to make it look more realistic. Also I suggest taking either predominantly yellow OR brown depending on the planet. Both together looks a bit strange imo.

I was inspired by how much detail model-makers put into recreations of Red Squadron, so I created a skin of similar detail.

That's a really sweet skin. What model is that? I've never seen it before.

Holy crap it is. I only just now realized exactly how much the stock model sucks. Well that's going to need to be replaced in my Battlefront 3 mod...
