I suspect a rise in underwater homes...

I built underwater domes before building underwater domes was cool.

But fo srs, I don't think the dragons are going to be that big of a deal. They just seem like Overworld Ghasts to me, nothing new. Fly around, maybe shoot fireballs, but won't bother you if you are out of their line of sight (even behind glass). And that's only if they're aggressive. Who knows, if they spawn in the daylight, they might be passive until provoked.

I like how they are tying a bunch of loose ends with this, they will give us a bit of indirect backstory on the origins of the Endermen and they finally will have a good reason to put dragons in the game.

If any of you guys find an Ender Portal, please post the seed and the xyz coordinates here. I have found five Strongholds but there were no portals in any of them. It's starting to annoy me.

Yeah. Apparently all of the strongholds they led me to were spliced with ravines and abandoned mines. I found a seed on Youtube though, so the problem's solved.

I've been messing around in 1.9pre4 as well. Finally found a Stronghold, and oh-my-gosh was it amazing. It has an Ender Portal in it too, so I'd definitely suggest checking it out. The seed is -6764376538765125642.

Look around x:-700 z:1000 for epic undergrounds. Ender Portal at x:-672 y:30 z:1008

Just remember, there is no portal on the other side... it's called "The End" for a good reason.

Solution: Build a portal to the Nether in The End. Build a portal in the place where you come out. Make sure you have a compass. Profit???

Haven't tried it myself but I've heard Nether Portals don't work in The End.

Nope, I'm afraid you can't do that.

Rumors say that the only way to leave the End will be by slaying the Enderdragon within. You must defeat him... or die trying.

Found a weird, nameless item. Place cobblestone under a lily pad and it will result in a gray lily pad. No idea what it does, but it may be something related to potions in the future.
