Installing bf2 modtools on mac?

hi, i cant figure out how to install the tools on my new mac, when i click the installer it just opens the installer in text editor. help?

SWBFII was never released for Mac. SWBFI, yes.

The mod tools make use of the old Batch scripts. That might be a problem for you.

Darn, you're right. I thought I remembered playing it on a mac but it was BF1....
