Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast
I have only played Jedi Outcast and I need to know if I should get Academy instead.

I say go with Jedi Academy.
Academy is pretty much an exact clone of Outcast in gameplay, just with a different story, but after you play through the story once you aren't too likely to play through it again. Chances are you'll spend more time on multiplayer or on random single player missions that you just happened to enjoy. I personally spend most of my time spawning various jedi to duel with.
Academy probably has a more active community as well, since it's newer than Outcast. Most of the mods worth downloading these days are made for Academy.
Whichever you buy, just make sure you get the PC version so you can take advantage of mods (and dismemberment  ). Just be warned that it's a lot harder to find a way to get dismemberment working in Jedi Academy than in Jedi Outcast, if you enjoy such things.

Also, there are more lightsaber moves and special moves in Academy.

Definately Academy, there's so much more to it. Only downside is that you aren't playing as Kyle :<

Yeah go with Academy, it's a lot of fun. JK2 is awesome too but JK3 has some new things in it.
Hehe I like flying around as chewbacca whilst throwing hundreds of rebel soldiers onto the floor deep down below untill the game freezes but thats just me
EDIT @ the post below:
So it is, I didn't notice... Oh well.

Re: Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast
So I looked at kotor 1 , kotor 2 then found JA , i think i like that MP and SP ability on this game so I went to ebay to get a copy, its like 31$ or more, thats nuts. Why is this old game more then half the games i get on ebay? also if someone wants to donate a copy to gt so i can mod this game let me know ...

Re: Jedi Academy or Jedi Outcast
E Bay rips you off, Wal Mart was selling theres for $9.99, the same price for Republic Commando and Battlefront II. I think why it costs so much is because it is still one of the most popular Star Wars games. Multiplayer is so crowded for JK3 it is crazy, there is like 10 times as many servers as Battlefront II Not to mention the literally thousands of files (around 5,000 to be exact) just on Jedi Knight Files. There is an average of 7 files that come out daily. I would definitely recommend JK3 over JK2, I have played both games and have enjoyed JK3 more.

While that's true, my personal opinion is that 50% or more of that are crappy reskins and stuff like that. Though SWBFfiles doesn't put out as many files daily, it's generally higher quality stuff.delta 47 wrote:Not to mention the literally thousands of files (around 5,000 to be exact) just on Jedi Knight Files.
