Hey guys! I'm giving credit to Null for this, but there is a "safe haven" (Read-NPC village) to quote Null, for you guys due east of spawn (X:10, Y:70, Z:-140). It's past the mountains and in a desert. If you see a bridge your close! A Cave system was discovered underneath my house, and a dungeon and abandon mineshaft had been found by the time I logged of the report this. So go claim a house (Or build one) today!

If you all can't make it I might venture back Enderman style with blocks and build a shelter for you all.

I really hope to see you all back on the server, I miss the old days.

But me and Gandalf (I think it was, anyway, I could be wrong) are building a base on a swamp lake!

Is there an approximate time for when this will be up and running again?

I'm trying my best to get this rehosted, but I need your guys' help.

I'm building a new computer tomorrow that will be able to host this server no problem. 24gigs of RAM, an i7, and a 256gb SSD.

The issue is my router, I believe.

From what I've been told, you need certain ports opened/closed to host, and I have no idea how to do that. I have a Comcast router. If you guys can help me out, we can get this server rehosted!
There's a picture of our network setup, the top one is the router and the two white ones are Apple wireless access points. I'm running directly into the very bottom access point.

1) Ignore the "buy it now" thing, there's a link in the top right that says "continue to portforward.com"
2) Select your router brand and model
3) Select Minecraft
4) Follow the instructions on how to open up ports

Although, I've invested a lot of time in Dohnutt & Co's DimoCraft server, and it's guaranteed 24/7 so idk how often I'll be on if GT opens up ANOTHER one.

If you do rehost that specific world... Hoho, I can't wait to see how messed up the biomes and the new/old generated chunks seam will be.

All joking aside though it'd be nice to revisit the old days with you all. Good Luck Rogue!

Just an update;

New computer has been built and is amazing, could totally run this server no problem.

I went to this site, but they didn't have my router model, so I tried selecting a similar one, but I don't know if this is all just over my head or if the differences between the router models caused an issue, but it didn't work.

I'm still open to other suggestions.
