Works for me too. I also find it cool I can use it through my 3DS.

I do have some bad news though.

My Laptop died, so I won't be as active here or on the Server.

The good news is, I should have it back in less than a week, and if I have to, I can use this Windows box to do stuff in the meantime.

How often is the server down? Whenever I'm on after-school it seems like it's not on.

The server is down when I am asleep, playing TF2, or forgetting to put up the server. I hope to keep it up more consistently through the summer.

ALTERNATIVELY, we could all pitch in like $5 a month and get a server going 24/7. But I guess once Dohnutt's server updates, we'll have a 24/7 server up to play on.

Minecraft has Been updated to 1.2.2! 256 Block world height! Now we need to wait for Bukkit to update... (Although They will make the official server in 1.3)

Yeah, if you guys want to play on the server, until Bukkit updates, don't update your version of minecraft.

Yeah, it's waiting for a bukkit update. A recommended build. Hopefully that will come soon.

I've looked over my schedule for the next while, and between school and the rest of my work I have planned out, it just doesn't look like I'll have the time to run this server. It will *probably* be back up in the summer.

Guiz, you wanted a 24/7 server to hang out with fellow GTers?
Dohnutt's had one set up and offered you all a spot on the whitelist for weeks now. Same rules as our good old fashioned GT server: "Be respectful."
Granted, it wasn't fully updated to the latest version until recently, but hey, it's up now.

AND it's a relatively new world to explore. It'd be like joining a GT server a week or two after people have been on. Plenty of space for everyone. Very high quality server, I get little lag there. Plus, it's run by your neighborhood floating-tree-killer, Dohnutt! (and friends). You can play at any time without fear of the server's host needing sleep. Because the host is a dedicated server.

It would be cool if Gandalf gave Dohnutt the level files from the old server and let him run it in his absence

But Dohnutt's been running his server for a while now. We can't ask him to let GT take over, he's being kind enough to offer us a home among his friends.

It makes sense to me, anyway. :/ I'm not quite ready to jump up and move on to another server.
