working on a tie avenger. it still needs to be skinned(which i cant figure out how to do). i read the tutorial but when i move it around it doesn't change. this is my first model. http://photobucket.com/albums/b218/Flip ... rfront.jpg

does anyone know how i can texture it. i move the things around in the texture editor but it doesnt move on the model.

Off-topic : flippy', might I know if you've downloaded the "Documentation" associated to Softimage|XSI Mod Tools, which is located on this web-page ? (Indeed, I guess the answer to your above question must be mentioned inside it...)

In fact, both the "Documentation's Windows Installer and the "Tutorial Guide" may contain the resources you need to work out the problem you're currently facing with your "TIE Avenger" model, flip'...

i still don't get it. can somone who knows how to skin do it for me. i'm just trying the tie fighter skin. i dont know if it will work to good. you can to try to do a skin if you want heres a pic

i figured out how to skin but the tiefighter skin doesn't work good. can someone try to make a skin for it.

you can always just use the texture file that the Shipped TIE's use

you could always try, also make the model more detailed, it looks straight outta XWA or a old playstation game, work on the mesh some more before rushing it into game.
