hi, I imported the .MSH file into Softimage thanks to ZEtools, but I don't know how to apply the texture.

go to the top right of the viewport where it says "wireframe" and change it to "textured decal"
textures can be applied via the ZE Tools tab in manage materials

I went to the "material manage" screen and uploaded the tga file, then clicked on "assign" and nothing happens

i use cinema 4d, theres no plugin for bf2 models for c4d so i do most of the work in there, then export it as .fbx so i can import it into softimage to put on the finishing touches

To add a texture in XSI 7.5, you go (under model tab) to get, material, and click the plug icon on the right. Select image, then select new, then select new from file. Then select the tga file you want

u need to use the plugin bruh, xsizetools, when u install it a new tab should appear called ZE Tools which allows u to import/export msh files

i seriously recommend joining the gametoast discord server, u will get answers much faster and more efficiently, and from more people that are more experienced than i am in modding

This, but the reverse. In Softimage, import the MSH, then export as FBX, then in C4D import as FBX.

Or just do everything in Softimage and don't use C4D.

I've never been any good at uv mapping, so my ability to assist runs out here unfortunately
