Its amazing how well that looks. The swbf2 rebel trooper base works really well for the model. Will we be seeing this in your Battlefront EA mod?

Ralph McQuarrie's Stormtrooper

One of the few kitbashes I made for Sith Wars II.

As we can now use the TFU Stormtrooper, I converted it this morning (pretty much broke it up the same way I broke up the SWBFEA Stormtrooper):






These are all override-texture compatible. The sandtrooper gear comes from SWBF3 - at least that part was okay, though I might see if I can find a better-detailed pauldron.

Looks great! Definitely an improvement over the other Storm Trooper models (except for EA's).

Thanks! It's a real shame I can't use these in SWBF1 as the poly count is too high (unless I can find a way to increase the memorypool thresholds - pity Battlebelk is no longer around. This is the sort of thing he excelled at).

I may release them soon, once the rules are cleared up enough for me to do so.

I honestly prefer this one over both SWBF3 stormtroopers. This one's a lot more accurate.

SWBF3's last Stormtrooper model was literally TFU's. LucasArts re-used it for TFU.

I hope to see these models used in a spiritual successor to BF Evolved! I assume the in game skin changer mod would have to be tweaked to work with these ?

Actually the latest Stormtrooper is about 95% EA's BF Stormie.

Just working on some alterations to my conversion of the TFU Stormtrooper by adding TFU's pauldron and gear:



Also done the Prologue Stormtrooper. Might try and make a version based on the Wii/PS2 version.

EDIT: here's those aforementioned units:
The helmet is not a 100% recreation (the top is the same as the TFU Stormtrooper while the bottom has the 'cheeks' of the TFU Wii trooper, I've just upped the poly count). The other Clone Trooper parts come from the TFU Clone Trooper outfit for Starkiller. For the 501st Trooper, I've also got a blank texture and a version of the model with the Sandtrooper gear.

Shout out to Deviss for converting this guy: Intended on being used in a Jungle setting. The Rathians in Designated Days hate the CIS as well, so maybe this will be on a map that pits the CIS against the Rathians. The CIS were curious as to why the Republic was interested in this system, so they sent a few detachments to investigate.
