How to setup a soundregion for footsteps?
So I want to have sound regions so that the footsteps sound different depending on what the material is. I thought I would use soundregions. The problem is I don't know how to set them up. I have done the regions in zero editor and given them names but that's it. Is there an easy way to do this?

Welcome to Gametoast!
Footstep sounds are determined by the foley settings of the prop that a character collides with. See the section titled "Foley Effects (impacts, collisions)" here: http://www.secretsociety.com/forum/down ... dhooks.txt

Thanks a ton! And it is so simple! Another question, is it possible to set up 2 foley effect within one odf file ? I have a pyramid and some kind of carpet in it I would like the pyramid to use the stone foley and the carpet to use the dirt foley.

Unfortunately not. You would need to make the carpet a separate object.
