Howdy-ho!
I just reinstalled the good ol' BFII on my machine. Every time I close/open the game, the settings reset to default (800x600 res, low graphics), and was wondering if there is a fix.

Ah, you're running the game in 'safe mode'. ^^ To fix, navigate to GameData folder and make a shorcut of BattlefrontII.exe, and run that whenever you want to play.
Alternatively, create a non-Steam shortcut of the BattlefrontII.exe in your Steam library.
