How can I change the HUD back from the one that came with v1.3 to the original? I look through the documentation, but to no avail...

Inside the AAA-V1.3 patch folder there's a .bat file named "menu", run it and select the option to remove the new HUD.

i did, it just gives the options to either install v1.3, which I have, and to Exit....so, I ran install, it did its junk then gave me the same options as before. Is there a manual way to do it?

Check - is this the menu.bat from the file folder inside your addon folder?

yes, oh wait, just realized it was in my addon3 folder, one of my backups...

I changed it too. is there a way to get the hud?

I didn't put limitations on people embedding it into their mods, so thats what has happened. The patch enables custom eras and game modes, so the larger mods grabbed it before it was finished inorder to better test their larger mods.

I did start working on an improved installer. I plan to fix a couple of script related bugs, decouple the v1.2 patch, and switch to an .exe instead of the .bat menu. The first week of RIT's new quarter isn't even over and I'm already bogged down with course work and projects. My hope is to get the new installer working over Christmas break. Writing it here will help me keep that deadline.

Zerted, none of those mods include it except for Dark Times, and no big mod except for the Conversion Pack even came out before your "final" release of the 1.3 patch.

If someone has more than one copy of the AAA-v1.3patch folder (which is baffling to even consider), then it means that they stored one copy in a backup addon folder and installed it again (for whatever reason).

i deletet it from all folders exaped the addon folder. in the others there was only a txt-datei. and it works.
